Fishing & Species

Target an extraordinary variety of species in Cape Yorku0027s remote and relatively untouched waterways. Primary targets include Barramundi, Mangrove Jack, Giant Trevally, Queenfish, Blue Salmon, Tarpon, and Barracuda.

Secondary species include Giant Herring, Cod, Fingermark Salmon, Grunter, Flathead, Bream, Threadfin Salmon, Golden Trevally, and Coral Trout. The helicopter provides access to river systems and coastal spots that see only a handful of anglers each year.

Getting There

Departs from Lockhart River Aerodrome in Far North Queensland. Charter flight costs are not included — arrange through your Fishing Safari Designer. Return via helicopter transfer from Roko Island to Horn Island.
