Kimberley Coastal Camp

Kimberley Coastal Camp is located in the Admiralty Gulf within the remote Kimberley wilderness of Western Australia. This is an untouched paradise surrounded by tidal rivers, mangrove creeks, estuaries, offshore reefs, and secluded islands — offering some of the most diverse and exciting fishing in the country.

Eight spacious beachfront bungalows provide exclusive accommodation with premium linens, private ensuites, and ceiling fans. The main camp pavilion (“The Shed”) features a rustic dining table beneath high raked ceilings, a library, music system, and swimming pool overlooking the Admiralty Gulf.

With custom-built fishing vessels for blue water, shallow flats, and tidal creek fishing, plus knowledgeable guides and an all-inclusive open bar, Kimberley Coastal Camp delivers a true luxury wilderness fishing experience. Fishing is catch-and-release.

Target Barramundi, Mangrove Jack, Fingermark, Mulloway (Northern Black Jew Fish), Threadfin Salmon, Giant Trevally, Spanish Mackerel, Tuna, Queenfish, Coral Trout, and Blue Bone. Mud crabs and oysters are also available.

Custom-built fishing vessels access blue water, shallow flats, and tidal creek environments. All boats are in commercial survey with full safety equipment. Quality fishing equipment is provided (excluding fly fishing gear). Fishing is conducted on a catch-and-release basis.

Commercial flights from major Australian capitals to Darwin. The package includes return transfers from Darwin to camp. Alternative access via the Gibb River Road to Mitchell Plateau for helicopter transfer (vehicle storage available). Note: spring tides can reach 7 metres — discuss preferred dates to understand tide conditions.
